Octavia 06 window regulator problems

    Can anyone help with a problem?

    The passenger side regulator has gone, window won't open and close and switch is whirring when pressed but nothing happens.

    However the driver's side window now won't work, but it doesn't sound the same. There is nothing when you press the switch at all.

    So I'm assuming that it isn't the regulator that has gone. Could it be the switch that has gone?

    So passenger window wasn't working for a long time?
    And now the driver side isn't working either?
    It could be the mechanism in the window itself, the electric switches, or something else (two separate issues).
    The easiest way to find is to remove the door card in the passenger door and have look to see if anything looks disconnected or blocked.
