    Well, assuming your venue is in RoI, then any private securirty must be licenced by The Private Security Authority, so assume they are properly licenced, then YES.

    you can discriminate on the language skill of the licensed security personel you employ though

    Of course you can get non-Irish security to police your venue. That's how the single market works.

    Equally of course, your non-Irish security will have the same licensing, etc, requirements as they would have if they were Irish.
