May have to take a personal injury case to court.

    Are we talking several years?

It will depend on a number of factors, not least the severity of the case. Many minor cases or cases where there is definite outcomes can probably be settled long before court.

Once it gets to starting a court case, it will depend on how quickly paperwork can be filed and how long the list of cases is.

Have you been through the injuries board?

As above, there are many factors that will determine how long your case will take to conclude.

But if the case is contested and settlement is unlikely, then it will take a number of years, yes.

There will be no settlement and other party won't agree to injuries board assessment.

Are we talking four or five years potentially?

Yes. There is every possibility of it lasting that long.
