    Hi Toby250,

The meter aspect is a query for ESB Networks (Electric Ireland just looks after billing queries now) on 1850 372 757.

An electrician may be able to give general safety-aware advice also - the Electrical forum here on Boards.ie is a great reading resource, and a list of registered electrical contractors is available on this website.

We assist with Electric Ireland billing/account queries and provide general information on savings, rates, PAYG and Home Services - if you have a query for us regarding any of these, we are here on Boards.ie and our other social media channels until 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

    Best regards,
    Una
