I have a Yola fire front installed on my fire. I have a firebird supreme back boiler http://global.firebird.ie/Products/BackBoilers.aspx. Since the firefront was installed I have left the back boilers front plate on and opened it to allow the flame up around the back boiler and pushed the firefront baffle up to it. It doesn't seem to heat all the rads the same as the fire used to. Has anybody else got this back boiler with a firefront door. Do you have this plate on or off. Would it work better with this plate off.
Also does anybody know if the thermostat on the pipes at the fire goes on the send or the return pipe and what temp is it normally set to.
