I know this person who is an irish citizen, has mental health problems, adhd and other. Hes had drink and drug problems and been in rehab clinics a few times before. A friend of his suggested he move to the uk for work but then decided to dump him on the streets after using him alot. Hes now on the streets in the uk and is desperate for help. Ive been onto the phone to him every night for the last week, sent him some money for food but he really wants to come home. In his own county, the CC refused to help him before when he was in a bad situation.

Does anyone know where he can go for help if i decided to purchase a flight home for him. He would like to go into a treatment place again to help him get back to normal but doesnt know where to start.

presenting at A&E is the only swift way into psychiatric services. That would be my advice.

And it's best if he goes alone. If somebody goes with him the health services will do their best to push the person into their care.

Get him to Northern Ireland. The system there is better. Omagh is fairly decent from my knowledge.
