    Hi guys,
I'm a secondary school teacher of English as a Foreign Language with 20 years' experience, QQI level 9 (foreign qualifications) and wondering how easy (or tough) would it be for me to get a job in a preschool?
Would I need any certificates / exams?

Aa far as I know you need a level 6 childcare qualification to work in any preschool. Earlychildhoodireland.ie has loads of information about all aspects of early childhood education. Also have a look at Síolta and Aistear to get an idea of where pre-school education is at now.
    Actually this https://www.dcya.gov.ie/docs/EN/Minimum-Childcare-Qualifications/3125.htm
will give you specific info on qualifications that are accepted.

Yep, just as I thought, my qualifications aren't recognised. :-(
