Skoda Superb DRLs

My brother bought a 152 Skoda Superb 2l 140bhp (Mk II) SE Business. Are DRLs an extra from the standard SE Business spec? I don't see them on Parkers.

They are not on when the car is running and they are on in the MDF settings.

    Thanks

On some cars you need to twist the light stalk from Off to Auto, but if the car have proper DRL they should always come on regardless.

Aren't they standard on new models since 2012 in the EU? Or is there some loophole nonsense?

Does any lights come on at all when car is started?
Some will have headlights auto-on by default
    Some will have "spotlights" auto-on
Some will have some LED strip yoke auto-on

I don't know how common this is with other cars, but the DRLs on my Prius don't turn on until the parking brake is released - so if they do exist, you might not see them if you're only checking while it's running and parked up.

Have a look in the car's on board computer menu? It's very possible that there is an option to switch DRLs on and off in there.
