Considering one of the above, which is most comfortable, reliable and best towing capacity?
Is the vrt on these still 200 or 13% of omsp?
I've leaning towards the transit with the 2.2 engine, have an immaculate mk5 hilux, whilst it's literally indestructible, I need something more comfortable with a more secure load area and a decent towing capacity.
I like my leg room as well, have a connect for work and my knees are almost touching the steering wheel.

Traffic are a heap of scour. Transit custom would be my choice.

    That's my thinking as well.
Can't imagine the livestock box behind a van with only 1600cc

Are either really suitable for towing a horsebox type trailer?

The hilux wouldn’t be either, them 2.5 wouldn’t pull themselves off a flat lawn.

The mk5 hilux is only rated to pull 2.25 ton which isn't much more than a good saloon.
I don't want to go down the cruiser or pajero route again, between injectors, pumps and dmfs they cost well north of 1500-2k when they fail.
I'm sort of in a strange predicament that I work full time, farm part time and I'm a plumber by trade so I need a sort of jack of all of that's at all possible.
I've thought about a 4 motion transporter but again they're known to be soft and expensive when they go wrong.
The transit custom is the best I've seen so far but I'm open to suggestions.
Pickups are not suitable as I've learned the hard way and they're like a bouncy castle on a country rd
