Watching it on Sky Atlantic. Two police officers are shown in a Ford Crown Victoria but in the next shot are driving a Chevrolet.

Hope someone got fired for that blunder.

Several police cars have forward facing blue lights. NYPD does not use forward facing blue lights on any emergency vehicle, and state law prohibits blue lights facing forward on police vehicles.

The Kahr K9 9 mm pistol was an approved off-duty/backup weapon from 1998 to 2011. It was pulled from service because it could not be modified to a 12-pound NY-2 trigger pull. From 2011, Danny Reagan couldn't be carrying a Kahr K9 9mm pistol.

    There are dozens more.

It's a bit of harmless drama; hardly sells itself as an accurate historical reproduction. Just go with the flow.

    Why is this?

    Why is this?

I have not the foggiest idea but that's how it is.

It always struck me that they were like The Waltons; Next Generation.

    It's too wholesome

In saying that I would watch a show about Grandpa Regans time on the beat in the 70"s

Finding this series a bit mah! tbh,
cant put my finger exactly on why this is tho.

As for the obvious set up with danny and the psychic:o.

Take away the stupid Sunday dinner scenes and it would be much better.

That'd be like removing the "Good night John Boy, good night Mary Ellen..." scene from The Waltons.

It's a perfectly watchable 44 mins of TV a week, no point overthinking it...

    Why is this?

Only federal vehicles are exempt from this law in NY as far as I know.

I enjoy blue bloods. I've watched it since it started 10 years ago. It can fall flat at times and there are some cringe moments but it's harmless. Most cringe character is definitely Niki i've always thought.

I do have a feeling though that it will finished up after the next season (10).

I remember Erin in The Waltons but who was Anthony?

And why isn't there a telly forum?

Different Erin. It's Erin Reagan and her investigator Anthony Abetemarco.
