Using Existing Cable Points with Eir / Vodafone TV

I have UPC/VM cable points in a number of rooms in house, can anyone tell me if I switch to Eir / Vodafone TV if I can utilise the same cables etc, or do I need to run new cables to each room

My phone point comes in to front door, but I don't want to have router there, nor do I want to run cables to "TV room" from here, thus can I somehow use existing cable runs, if so how

    Thanks

Your existing UPC cables are Co-axial cable, which isn’t used for Vodafone/Eir. To my knowledge they use WiFi, Ethernet, or home plugs for connecting their TV boxes to the modem.

UPC/VM have their own network and cable points

eir/vodafone comes through your phone line
