1980's Dandy Rock 'n Bubble playing cards.

Anyone remember these pop star collectors cards that came out in 1986 or 87? My brother had most if not all of them, long since lost. A lot of the stars featured were even for the time seriously uncool (Supertramp anyone?), the prerequisite seemed to be if they'd had a recent hit single or featured at Live Aid.

I was mystified at the time by the inclusion of non musician Eddie Murphy but I didn't know he'd had a hit single "Party All The Time" in the States which seemingly didn't come out on this side of the Atlantic.

Just listened to it, very entertaining listen. I'm mystified as to where my brother picked them up from seeing as its mentioned here that seemingly you could only find them in just one shop in the UK. I'd just assumed that they widely available.
