no warranty on new phone

    Hi I bought a new phone from eBay uk. 50 days ago. On day 42 the loudspeaker stopped. I informed supplier who asked me to wait until he could see what the manufacturer would do. He has just told me they won't do anything. But he has asked me to get a phone repair shop to fix it and if it's reasonable that he would pay for repair.
    Is it too late to do a PayPal refund. If not how do I do it

    You have 60 days to file a claim with ebay and 180 days with paypal so straight away open a not as described case with ebay, contact them and ask them what they would advise you to do with getting it repaired, sending it back etc.
    If I was you I would push for sending it back to the seller and getting a refund, make sure you send by registered post to get a tracking number and take a video of you packaging it up.
