    Size 52/54 for 5'10" rider.

Debating going frame-only and building up but thought I'd ask what's out there. Not sure it will be put to actual cross use mind, but as a general winter mount, and would like the option of retaining a cross wheelset so I could effectively jettison an unused mountain bike.

Anything out there? Not absolutely set on a budget but let's say up to a grand at the moment. The PX XLS frames have caught my eye, albeit in disc brake format (on the fence).

I might be selling* a 54cm Vitus Energie Pro (2016) with that bikes spec -
1x11 Sram Rival, hydraulic discs, WTB i19 rims laced to Novatec hubs, clutch mech.

I picked it up from the first owner who had ridden it for one CX season, I've ridden it a further CX season and canal spins.

*Would be looking for €1000 and will know in the next few days if I am buying a newer bike.

I have a Giant TCX size small. In excellent condition. Built up last year and did 2 or 3 spins and 2 cx races. Was going to use as a winter training bike but i then bought a winter training bike.

Top tube 52cm c-c. Giant connect 90mm stem and fsa bars 42c-c. Tiagra 10 speed rear mech and 105 front mech. Cx chainset.

Will come with older mavic aksium wheels that still have plenty of life in them. Rapid Rob tyres. Avid shorty ultimate brakes. Flite gel saddle.

I am 5 foot 9 and there is plenty of adjustment. I can supply a 100mm stem if needed.

In terms of going frame only - I'm looking at doing the same but not seeing any good deals at all on hydraulic disc road groupsets (but plenty of deals on bikes especially with the old 105 disc)

At the moment with planet x your nearly better off going with a complete bike rather than frame and groupset

Hey – I have a Giant TCX SLR that would fit. Full 11spd 105 converted to single ring, R685 Shimano Hydraullic discs and brand new set of wheels. Looking for €750.

Frame is 2015/16. I upgraded the standard TRP brakes to Shimano hydraulics. Brand new wheelset (I moved my racing wheels to another bike). I also did the 1x conversion. I have it set up for the road as a commuter at the moment. You're welcome to come take a look.

Oops, didn't mean to ignore you Dec, I'm gonna look at disc brake only options after having a spin on one at the weekend - time to make the jump!

Hiya. I am selling the Vitus. I want to clean it up and then I'll put it up for €1000.
    I was looking it the shed yesterday and I have a couple of spares to go with it;

    replacement dropout
    40t chainring

Assuming you are still on the lookout I can have it Dublin city centre or Ballyboden or most places in between for a looksee. The stem is quite a long one at the moment so I might throw a shorter one on unless you have a long back/short leg combo like myself
