Paul Greengrass's new film about the Norwegian massacre by Breivik. Knew nothing about it, but a few reviews showed up on my twitter feed. Very positive , but a hard film to watch. Out at the Venice film festival, and out on Netflix in October. Looking forward to it.

Ominous trailer and probably up to Greengrass's standards a la United 93. Will be difficult viewing, no doubt.

    On Netflix from Oct 10th.

Making a movie about this is just what these crazy assholes want isn’t it the fame and notoriety.

It’s a hard one to watch I can’t help but think that scumbag will be loving the fact they made a movie about these horrific events

I didn't think this was up to the usual standard of Greengrass. I thought it was extremely drawn out but it also skimmed over important details. The production values looked a bit cheap at times and the acting unfortunately was not of as a high a standard as in United 93 for example. It wasn't bad overall, just not what I was expecting.

Watched this last night, an enjoyable if difficult watch. It didn't shy away from showing what happened without being too graphic either, that wouldn't have been necessary considering it was primarily children who were killed. It did feel a bit too long, they could've taken half an hour out of it, difficult for a movie of it's length to not lose steam somewhat. As already mentioned the acting wasn't 100%, although that may have something a little to do with English not being the first language of most of the cast. Over seven years on it still feels surreal that this happened in a country like Norway, and it's among the rarer and cowardly terror attacks that deliberately targeted youth.

    Overall, it's a solid 7/10 movie I feel.
