Lansdowne Road Agreement

Seeking some clarification on the Lansdowne Road agreements relating to pay-scales. For my own profession, there's two different scales for the years 2016 (effective 1/1/16) and then 2017 ( effective 1/4/17).

Is the 2017 scale just for new applicants to the position or does it pertain to all? For example, if on point 4 in 2016, would you be on point 5 of the 2017 scale the following year?

    Many thanks

As far as I’m aware all public sector salaries increased by €1000 from 1/04/2017 so maybe that explains the different scales?

Since then, there has been a further 1% applied from 1/01/2018 so the current pay scales should be dated from then.

Another 1% is due on 1/10/2018.
