Door respray - on or off?

    Hi,

Damaged the front passenger door of my touareg. Too much damage to repair.

Got a replacement door. Should I fit it and then get it resprayed (it’s the wrong color) or give them to it off the car for respray?

Easier for them off the car, but harder to blend in. Any consensus on the best approach?

    Thanks

Give it to them off the car, they’ll need to disassemble it etc, they will then probably paint the inside etc of the door off the car, prep it, hang it then paint and blend it into the side of the car.

Perfect. Was guessing as much but wanted an expert opinion. Cheers Colm!
