I am a 17 year old who is going to college in September. I skipped transition year and as a result I am finding it hard to get a job not needing any retail experience. I have tried Lidl and Penney’s to no avail and other supermarkets are not hiring in my area. Does anybody know where would employ me? I am in the Meath/Blanchardstown area.

Write up a CV, hobbies,interest,etc... i know there wont be much to put on it,
print loads of these up and then go round posting them into shops, business parks,
industrial est, etc... you might get lucky, i did, been working in the place 4 years now,
    Good luck.

In the next few weeks stores will be advertising seasonal staff. Look out for Argos, boots and clothes stores specifically as they tend to take on lots of extra staff from the end of October until the middle of January. It will get you some employment history and a reference at the very least.

You could do some volunteering work?
As well as being rewarding you would have this experience on your CV then
