    AA x heifers, beefy shape
Apr 17 born, around 500 kg,
    synced and AId to AA
been offered a value on them but I think it wouldn't pay for them, whats markets like?

Id say tjey are worth more as beef than cows.
    500×.52=260×3.80=988
If they arent that long in calf,it might be best plan

cant be long in calf, meat price is all u will get, even heifers on pop of calving are being sold for what they'd make in the factory.

I think theres a lot of men going to panic this winter, take a bad price, and then cattle will be excessive again in spring going to grass like this year. a lot of scare mongering going on. I personally think theyre worth more than 1k in November. could buy cattle in the spring time there with prices. 300 for calves out of cows 2 weeks old in march. how the fudge does it make sense is beyond me

I have many words to describe it, optimistic is about the most polite of them.
Top quality Charolais young bulls in Carnew last week, average 514kg made €1200 average. Those whiteheads are advertised at the same price per kilo.

I think that’s closer to the mark, our own are a bit stronger, only the drop of the gavel will tell.

They’ve been outwintered and are ready for grass??? Wonder are they old pics from the spring and he has updated the price but not the rest of the advert.... 🀔

Edit just looked at the pics they seem to be on aftergrass so probably recent enough, has another advert for Chx heifers and saying the same about out wintered and dosed in dec etc 🙈 what’s that got to do with a heifer 9 months later?!

DoneDeal is a bit like tinder, you can put up whatever you want, doesn’t mean your getting laid though.

970 Euro. That man,s cheese is after slipping off his cracker. You would get two for 970 in skibbereen Mart a couple of weeks ago,
