Teak oil stain on oak stairs

I spilled a small amount of teak oil on untreated oak stair treads. It was wiped up immediately but obviously some soakage into the untreated wood. Any advice on how to remove it without damaging the wood?

You could try making a Paste of washing powder and a little water, might draw out the stain, test the paste first an inconspicuous area

    or meths

Thanks so much. Tried the washing powder idea and it worked like a charm
