Medical card online application doesnt list my GP

    Applying online today for a medical card but the select your GP section does not list my GP. It wont allow me to proceed with the application unless I select a GP? What do I do? Just select any GP local to me? I would prefer to stay with my current GP I have had the past 15 years.

    you cannot jsut select a random gp. as to have a gp take you under the med card scheme you need to present at their office and request a form to do so.

    If it wont let you do it online just print a form and do it the old fashioned way, the online ap makes you print and get the gp to sign the form anyway

    The online application/renewal is worse then useless.
    Save time and download a new application print it out get your GP to sign it and send it away. Don’t forget proof of income savings rent/mortgage house insurance and ownership of car if asking for going to work costs to be taken into account.
    Edit: proof of childcare costs too
