Lads, father is driving a '03 Ford focus 1.6l petrol.

Earlier on in the week he noticed water on the tarmac under the car. I've chased it down to the inlet/outlet in the attached picture, but does anybody have any idea what it is? Should there be a pipe attached? It's in the bulkhead just below the hoses going to what I assume is the heater matrix.

It's only a drip, but pretty constant. Any ideas suggestions or questions welcome

Ok to reply to myself, I've been searching around, and it would appear that it's a drain of sorts in the housing of the heater matrix.

Coolant levels aren't dropping, and the water is clear, while the coolant is pink.

Is there any chance this is as a result of condensation, much like what you get on the a/c system?

*edit* just for anybody else in the same situation, upon further research, it is indeed an ac drain

Yes AC drain pipe was my first thought. Thanks for the response.
