FS: CAAD12 Disc (almost complete), 2 wheelsets

    Size 54

Less than 800km on it. Rationalising the number of bikes as not putting in the miles to justify. Better that someone uses this than hangs up in the utility room.

Comes with the non-series Ultegra level hydraulic disc brake shifters/callipers.

2 wheelsets for sale. There wheelsets have less than 500km each. Both are tubeless ready, but running clinchers:

    - Hunt Aero light disc - with Schwalbe One 25mm tyres https://www.huntbikewheels.com/products/aero-light-disc-road-wheelset-1449g-28deep-22wide
    - Hunt 4 Season disc with Vredestein All Weather 25mm tyres https://www.huntbikewheels.com/products/mason-x-hunt-four-season-disc-brake-road-bike-wheelset-tubeless-ready

These are really excellent wheelsets, just look at the reviews. I'd keep one but this is my only disc brake bike.

The wheels in the photo are the 4 season set, will post more photos tonight.

Items in the attached photo NOT included:
    - saddle
    - crankset
    - derailleurs (front and rear)
    - pedals
    - bottle cages
    - Garmin mount

Include c-bear ceramic bottom bracket for running Shimano cranks in BB30a shell (https://www.c-bear.com/en/products/bottom-bracket/bb30a-cannondale-synapse-shimano-fsa-race-face-rotor)

Have some hydraulic fluid to throw in too.

Based in Monkstown area of Dublin.

Looking for €1,300 for the lot (excluding the parts listed above)

Should be able to pick those up relatively cheaply, then you'll have a great training/racing machine.

I figured there would be some interest in splitting.

I'll give it a few days to see if someone wants to take it all. If not then I will post separate prices for the various parts

    Cheers

Cheers, our of curiosity what height are you? Just trying to see if the frame would fit me. Do you know what year the frame is so I could check the geometry chart?

    It's the 2016 frame.

    One in this link https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Cannondale/CAAD12-Ultegra-Disc-Road-Bike-2016/9BX1

    Geo there too

Great deal there. Do you mind me asking if you're a 54 in all your other bikes too? I always felt (though I'm a 56) that I was much more between 54 & 56 in the caad12 geometry for whatever reason

Other bikes have slightly longer top tube (55 to 55.5cm), but taller head tube.

I'm 6 foot tall so 54 was on the smaller side for me, but given the lower front I want a bit of flexibility on sizing, and easier to stretch with a longer stem than to make the bike feel smaller

Ok I don't think the frame would fit me but if you do decide to split I would definitely be interested in the Hunt 4 Season disc wheels.

Seems to be interest in the wheels. If takers for the frameset and hydraulic shifters/brakes then I’ll split.

Will give it a couple of days

    Photos to follow.

Wheels both have Ultegra cassettes and 140mm Shimano freeza rotors.
Schwalbe one tyres are practically brand new. Minimal mileage on other set

Want want want, but would probably need to sell a much liked bike for this.

The eternal dilemma of a cyclist. When to move one of the fleet on. I feel your pain!

Hi, I'd be interested in the wheels: Hunt 4 Season disc
I need 12x thru axles front and back, is this what they're set to or do you have the adapters?
If you'd sell them separately, how much?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭cunavalos

    Similar to Weepsie,
Expressing a genuine interest in this and would take the whole lot but need to shift one of my other bikes first.

    PS
If anyone is interested in a unridden 2013 52cm CAAD 10, built up with 10speed SRAM Red and Easton EA70 wheels i will be putting
up an ad before the weekend

Quick release is current set up. Will have a look for adapters.

Hsve someone viewing on Tuesday to confirm fit. They are interested in the lot. So will hold off posting separate prices until after that

Hunt sell the adaptors for both 12mm and 15mm thru axle. Simple change out. From memory it was about €20 delivered from UK. Great wheelset.

There was some bits and pieces that came with one of the wheel sets. I’ll dig them out.
If I can find them later

Interested in frame and wheels (either set) only
Think you can sell on most everything else from posts.
Definitely frame only if it suits. Wheels better still
    Let me know

Great deal. Was contemplating it myself. Initial photos out me off a bit cos the colour scheme looked frightfully dull imo but perhaps better in real life?
