Legality of Importation and Ownership of Decoration Piece Swords (Wallhangers)

I know that this subject has been discussed a lot on this forum already, but every time I look its just people repeating the laws about Offensive Weapons and the inclusion of Katans on the list in 2009. I have read the law extensively, and it makes no mention of actual swords (by that I mean wallhangera). So I was just wondering if anybody with experience who has ordered a sword online and had it imported, is there any problems with doing so?
    Thanks.

The two swords I was looking at were Anduril (Unlicensed Copy) from The Lord of the Rings and a historical reproduction of a two-handed sword.

From memory the illegality arises from the location and circumstances meaning it is an offence to have a weapon in a public place without lawful excuse. Your lawful excuse for possession is that they are collectors items for display purposes only and transportation of same from collection point to home. It may be worth contacting either customs at your local airport or the department of justice.

Thanks for the reply. Your probably right, I should get in contact with customs to see if there will be any problems.
    Thanks again.
