OK I just finished an ETB course on 10th August and signed back on, on 13th, I received a letter in the post saying I had to sign on, on August 28th. I took a holiday application from the 27th - 1st September and the dole accepted this, as I'm volunteering for the pre-event at Electric Picnic festival. But I received a letter from Seetec this morning requiring to go to a meeting on the 27th August. I phoned them up to say I had put in a holiday application for 27th - 1st September and she told me on the phone that the social will tell them about the holiday applied for. The thing is, will they? Or do I have to phone Intreo myself to confirm this. I don't won't to come back from the event to discover my claim has been cut off because of non-attendance for the meeting.

It might be best to get your C.V. out there and start applying for jobs before you go on holiday leave. There's a good chance you'd have a job lined up to start early September instead of relying on benefits. Best of luck.
