I don't know if this will be helpful.

Roughly 15 years ago I needed a job so got a part-time customer service role in PTSB. It was handling their telephone banking, etc.

Their assessment was very easy. It was sort of like a basic IQ test. If you got an average leaving cert you would do fine.

    Perhaps BOI do something similar.

Did it today, I thought it was very difficult, particularly the numerical reasoning part, percentages, pie charts, im not bad at doing sums in my head and would be fairly smart, people who get on well at these must be highly intelligent but then you would wonder why they be bothered with a basic job in bank of ireland if that clever.....

Well the good news is the other people probably found it difficult. As you say, this is a basic job in a bank, not some sort of scientist role...
