06 Fiesta radio not working

    06 fiesta radio same model as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTZmW9tXs3c

    yesterday for first time i tried to put a cd in. it wouldn't go, think a cd stuck in it. Today I had only one station. no button would work except on/off you push in the centre circular knob. no volume change no seek,nada.

    I disconnected the battery thinking it would help. But now i cannot enter code no button works. it turns on and off but on is only to ask code.Nothing else works there are only digits 1 to 6 so how to enter a 7 even if it works.

    I do not have the tool to take it out you need 4?

A one second very gentle lift with a flat blade screwdriver unstuck it and then all the buttons worked. Then I keyed in the code and it works - volume controls everything.

    The code is 4 numbers. You press number 1 till you get to the first one , number 2 till you get to the second etc. Then number 5 to set

    Check that each button on facia is spring loaded. If any of the buttons are flat try and pry it out using poss the tip of a knife. This wont solve your problem with the cd but it should get radio up and running again
