    Hi all.

Im trying to get into QS'ing after becoming an electrician and working in construction for 6 years.
I had been hoping to get into the Sligo IT online course but it seems i need to have work experience in surveying specifically.

What im asking is, does anyone know of any online or part time degrees in quantity surveying. Or even an internship programme?

    Thanks for your help

If your minimum qualification is a degree, you can do the quantity surveying Msc offered by Dublin institute of tech. and Limerick institute of tech.
DIT's program is 3 years and its basically a part time program but LIT offers both the part time and full time scheme.
If you have no degree, then your best shot is to obtain a degree in quantity surveying. You can as well apply for trainee quantity surveying( i doubt if they exist here), positions while you undergo your academic qualification
