    The first one looks like what I ordered on saveonlaptops earlier this week for €540. However it says "not available for order" now. It's also disappeared from my order so I'm hoping nothing's gone wrong there. https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/4RF18EAABU-HP-Notebook-14-ck0993na_2364480.html

    That's better than the one from curry's, It has a full HD screen. Even at €600 it seems a fair price

    Tim,

    Garrett is new here and was asking for advice himself about budget laptops only a couple of days ago.

    Wait for guidance from someone with a bit more history here would be my advice. I’m rusty on PC stuff these days (Mac user) so I won’t comment myself on machine choice.

    You're dead right JayZeus, I possibly should butt out, but reading the specs they are the same except the screen. It's the machine I put my money on after seeking advice and doing comparisons myself. There may be other factors at play I'm missing though.
