This and I don’t like the Shaw pick. I don’t think United will keep many clean sheets.

And he has next to no attacking threat anymore

Duffy? Solid for CS at home

After KM telling me to take no heed of the future Mrs G&R I’ve reverted to Rondon, him being on the scout picks helped too. He’s a safer bet

    Allison - Speroni
    AWB- VVD-Doherty- Bednerak- Luiz
    Salah-Alli-Pogba-Nasri-Sterling
    Rondon-Jimmi-Rashford

    Good luck all

Where would you go better for 5.0 and down? 7 minutes for me to reconsider but I wasn’t seeing much taking my eye.

Holebas maybe for a few weeks with an eye to upgrading to TAA when you can.

Think I'm done, 2.3 itb for Lamela upgrade after 2 gws probably.

    Etheridge

    Digne TAA Robertson
    Pogba Sterling Salah Dilva Lamela
    Rashford Jimenez

Subs : Speroni Ings Bednarek AWB

    Thoughts?

Nasri is a complete punt but low cost. If he doesn’t work out he’ll be turned into Puncheon and the 1.3m put to work elsewhere

Dodged a serious bullet going Josh King instead of Llorente in the end

Good time to wildcard? Given the 10 days to think about the best plan and possible have a bit of an advantage if their are injuries from the games till the next gw. Also January transfer window will be almost closed.

Should only be about the state of your team IMO

I’m on the fence. Could take a minus 8 or so to be much happier with my team but also conscious that the WC is there to be used. Maybe their might be a better time to use it, I’m not so sure.

82 points from my Widlcard team.

    Fabianski (Guaita)
    Digne, Doherty, Lindelof (TAA, AWB)
    Sterling, Sane, Salah, Nasri, Pogba
    Firmino, Rachford (Nasse)

Excluding players in common, pre-wildcard team (including my planned transfer) would have had:
    Holebas/AWB/Hazard/Ricky/Aguero/Wilson = 24

    Wildcard team had:
    Lindelof/Sterling/Sane/Nasri/Rashford/Firmino = 42

So 18 point pickup, and a lot happier with my team. Gonna mentally bank that as a -16 in credit to use if I need to make a lot of transfers before the DGW's.

    Wildcarded last night. Currently on

    Alisson
    Robertson Bennet Digne
    Milivojevic Salah Sterling Pogba
    PEA Jimenez Rashford

    Speroni Bamba Westwood AWB

5 players brought in so far from original squad. Interested in bringing Son in if he’s back so may downgrade PEA and replace either Spacecraft or Mili. Won’t be doing too much tinkering till a couple of days before the next gw for my sanity.

2 Palace midfielders - I definitely wouldn't be going near that. With Alli injured and Spurs next 3 games at home I@d be throwing in Lamela?

Will you ever play Bamab too?

Whoops that was a mistake I’ve Westwood as my fifth mid not Townsend. I wouldn’t fancy Lamela at all. Would still prefer to bring Fraser back over him. May still do the Son move.
I’ve had Bamba a good few weeks now. He’s good back up, has had some decent returns. Could downgrade him if I’m in need of a bit of cash.

    Etheridge
    Robertson AWB Bennett
    Hazard Salah Sterling Pogba
    Firmino Jimenez Rashford

    Speroni Bamba Puncheon Bednarek

Have looked at it again and come up with this with only 0.1 itb. First 11 looks good on paper but that’s not where points are gotten.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,121 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

On this now with 1.5 itb.

    Etheridge
    Robertson Digne Bennett
    Kdb Salah Sterling Siggy Pogba
    Jimenez Rashford

    Speroni Ings AWB Bednarek

Will probably end up swapping Sane for Kdb before deadline. After gw 25 it’ll probably be Son in for a city mid and then another transfer in 26 to set me up for gw27. Opinions welcome.

Thinking of Wilcarding. Seem to have stagnated at 100,00 OR.

    Ederson -- Boruc

----Robbo- Wan Bicassa - Doherty - Bennett -- Bernarek

    -- Salah -- Mane -- Pogba -- Son -- Puncheon

    ---- Jimenez -- Agüero -- Rashford

Main casualties to the above are Fabianski, Sane, Anderson, Firmino & replaced 3 fodder with 3 that are playing. Will look at switching Aguero to Auba for GW 27. Thoughts

Looks to be a good team to me. You are going mostly for the budget defenders but it seems clean sheets are after becoming fairly scarce so it could be a strategy that works.

    Just checking in.

Was one of the people who did the PEA to Aguero weekly swap. But now want the following players in:
PEA, Son, Jiminez, Jota, Pogba, Kola...

Can get the first 2 for Hazard/Aguero for a -4.
That would involve keeping Richy, Fab, Stones, Kamara and a host of others I don't want.

Have 5 with a GW27 blank and 3 non starters.
    It's time isn't it?

Yeah I think I’d wildcard that lot.

Yeah I think I’d wildcard that lot.

    FWIW full team is:
    Fab Hamer
    Stones VVD Doherty Bennett WanB
Hazard Salah Richy Sane Gibbs-White (don't ask)
    Aguero Rashford Kamara

    Potential WC team:
    Etheridge Boruc
    Kola VVD Schar Bennett WanB
    Son Salah Pogba Jota Mané/Eriksen
    PEA Jiminez Crouch

    Wildcard time.

    For the chop:
    Begovic
Coleman (only brought in 1 week)
Sane (only brought in 1 week)
    Ricky
    Rice
    Success

    Also probably:
    Firminio
    Sterling

That's all I know so far. Haven't considered replacements yet. Rage is strong today.
