Can someone help me the calculations in the following situation

Job Seekers Allowance Rate - €198

Work 2 Days (2x12 hour shifts @ let's say €10 per hour to keep it easy) - €240

    Is the outcome:

    A) €200 (€40 disregarded for 2 days work) @ 60% = €120 assessed so JSA of €78

    B) €180 (€60 disregarded as 3 days hours worked over 2 days) @ 60% = €108 assessed so JSA of €90

    C) Something different!

Do DSP count any shift as 1 day I.e. 9pm to 9am is technically 2 different days but is 1 shift

Finally all references I am seeing state work "less than" 24 hours. Is this inclusive I.e. up to and including 24hours
