Electrical Scope of Works

Looking to get an electrical contractor on board for a self build. Most are reluctant to price without a set of marked up drawings illustrating number of light fittings and power points, all fair enough in my opinion.

Project specifics; house is approx 200m2, MVHR, heated by UFH ground and first, Air to Water Heat Pump.

Looking for some guidance here from people who are currently going through or who have gone through this process.

Also would like to hear of experiences, i.e. not enough power points in a certain room, data cabling points, etc.

    All comments appreciated.

Get an M&E spec drawn up and go out and get 3 quotes.
Out as many sockets as you can afford and double up in corners where you may put TV’s etc

Put cat 5/Ethernet ports where every tv will be too allow hard connection. Ask to the router. Quicker and more stable than WiFi.

    CCTV?
    Alarm?
