    What's worse?

Prepared meals delivery from likes of cleancutmeals bodychef. They deliver a box with ice packs and 15 meals in cheapish looking tupperware once a week.

    Or

Regular shop and takeaway say twice a week.
Average shopper so let's say average waste

Like everything in life it depends.

Regular shop and takeaway will probably save you a lot of money but also lose you a lot of time in cooking and prep.

With the delivery packages I've noticed most are a bit skimpy on the calories so wouldn't satisfy you're whole day anyway. Especially if bulking! Though I guess that part depends on the person.

I don't understand the relevance of this part?

Well I've posted in the environment and Sustainability forum so it's the main issue I'm looking to find out about. Some people are very conscious to buy products with minimal packaging, others not. I'm saying I'd be the average in terms of habit. The food and quality of it is irrelevant to what I'm talking about. Is the packaging and any other impact associated with these companies no better or worse than doing a normal shop and takeaway.

Ah apologies I just assumed it was the fitness forum. In terms of packaging I'd say buying it from a prepared food company would have the least impact as they would be making everything in bulk which by it's nature would have less packaging than buying individual or family sized portions.
