Lets be honest everyone not from cork looks at that and is asking themselves "Cork....really?"

Being a Dub ill be honest and say it hardly deserves its high place either, imo Galway should be streets ahead of both

I can understand why you might not feel Cork is the friendliest place.

Especially if you like crowds of pissed people and being ripped off by hoteliers and guest house owners

I thought the Irish "friendly" reputation was over rated.....until I left the country!

Theres far more to Galway than shop street or eyre square

It's a rating of the "friendliest", and that's probably because by default we're a pretty relaxed bunch. Go to any other major city and you'll have commuters and business people rushing around, loudly exclaiming, "EXCUSE ME", and generally getting in a huff about all the tourists in the way.

We don't. At worst we say "sorry there" as we try to pass, but in general we're pretty easy going and the pace in our cities never seems too fraught.

Lets just take the compliments and not get worked up over it.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

Drunk people can seem friendlier than they really are.

Who are these people who have been to every city in the world?

Or was there like some matchplay championship system?

id say its fare rating for ireland as in most cases you will always find person to get directions or guide, its not rated on how clean place is or parts of towns city, just general tourist experience.

if it was rated on living here that would be completely different side of the list.

I'd rather Limerick than Galway or Dublin.

If you see someone standing with a map and don't feel the urge to go over and ask them if they need a hand you are not irish imo

If you've been in Dublin recently you'd realise it's most likely a scam to fleece you and steer well clear.

I always found the English, particularly the Southern English, to be a delight.
