How to attack against the Aussies

    1) Check which side of the ruck Pocock is on

    2) Go as far as possible the opposite direction, regardless of numbers

He's playing at another level. Very O'Driscoll esque.

Foley had a foot out for that clearance

    This is brutal, massive hits.

NZ finally settled for 3 and missed, Aussies would see that as a win defensively

That never should have been a try. Beautiful stuff.

Difference right there between Ireland and the All Blacks. We just don't turn it on like that in those moments. Brilliant try, Australia caught napping and will be raging going in at half time.

Peyper had want to be bloody sure that was forward!

I think that was the Aussie's chance. Kiwis just look the better team when they can keep Pocock quiet.

    NZ are clinical.
    Ire are not.
    NZ > Ire.

Yup, and their ability to finish opportunities is sensational.

Barrett is a great player, but he's really struggling at the tee.

Oz having big trouble with the offloads

    Ah Brodie...too good

Folau and Hooper both getting injured at the worst possible times!

That was a try there for Australia but for both players getting hurt and ends up one in the other way with no one available. Game well over now.

Foley took a mortgage out on that dummy pass :pac:

Flip that would have been some try if they had finished that.

This is going to get ugly now, All Blacks are throwing caution, Aussies are just throwing it.

I'd say he was in front, but rubbish camera angles.

Would have been interesting what would have happened if he was called offside, advantage over was called as Barrett kicked it, but there would have been no advantage.

My TV must be too small because I saw nothing to indicate he was onside. If he was he did those first few metres like The Flash

Australia played a style that completely suited NZ. Once they tried to play a looser, open match it was never going to end well.

NZ are so far ahead of us when it comes to capitalising on opportunities though. Imagine what they could do if they had an outhalf!

    Wow. Ridiculous. Getting ugly now.

3 out of 6 kicks for Barrett. That will cost them in tighter games.
NZ are just so good at taking their chances. Only way to beat them is to keep it really tight and not spill the ball.

Damian Willemse on the bench for SA. Hopefully he'll get significant game time. Huge prospect

I hear cheika wants world rugby to reduce the match time to 40 minutes as 80 minutes gives the all blacks too much of an advantage.

Fitness, skill set and bench all heavily on the favour of the ABs.

You just need to slow the game down and stop giving them those counter opportunities. Most of the tries came from turnover ball.

I think Ireland's gameplan does pose problems as we keep it tight and we will test Naholo a lot more with kicks in behind him.

But we will have to make very few turnovers if we are to beat them.

Btw the Wallaby hooker showed again he is dodgy with the darts.

ALB/Goodhue will be a winning centre partnership for years. McKenzie, Ioane, J Barrett all really young, and I’m pretty sure Mo’unga will take his chances at flyhalf. The NZ back line will be insane for the foreseeable future - and they’ve got some serious prospects coming though the pipeline as well.

Aussies have even resorted to trying to get ABs yellow carded by jumping and contorting their body position in tackles.

I think this an awful comment basil. Sure if Falou was milking it, why did he put his hand out.
