thinking of buying a vw transporter swb

    does anyone know can you fit 8x4 sheets standing up into one of them or do they have to go cross ways or laying on the floor flat

    It’ll fit flat on the floor but AFAIK won’t go standing up unless you went diagonally.

    Yeah the transporter with the low roof isn't very big at all. I'm 5'11 and no way I could stand up in the back of a transporter. The FIL has a low roof transit and I can stand in the back of it no bother. Not scientific but it'll give you an idea.

    An 8*4 sheet is only 4 foot high though!

    Yeah, but I think the OP meant the other way. Long story short though, the Transporter is a bit bijou vs. it's rivals.

    id see the Transporters rivals as the Transit Custom, Vivaro, Vito etc.
