    Hi,

    I am new to boards.ie

just been through a tough legal situation.

I have been presented with legal costs which I feel are way OTT.

Can anyone advise me if and how I can get these down.

I have tried asking but got nowhere

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Anyone used this Taxing Master Route, costs? timelines? hassle?

    Thanks

There is a procedure for assessment of a bill of cost called "taxation"
    Legal costs accountants do this
Any other solicitor here would have to read the relevant file before advising.
Further, such advice would probably be in breach of forum rules
