Well at least you know.... did you replace the ecu.... replacement should be easily found.
Make sure to check the connector at the ecu for water ingress. And the bulkhead drains are clear. If all clear I have taken to put some soap or shampoo squirted around in the hope it helps keep it clear.

I have the car back now today the crank shaft sensor was checked correct voltage going to and coming from the sensor and no fault code for it he has since changed the timing belt as it had not been done in about 100000 km upon doing the timing belt he discovered the belt had wandered way to the right hitting the cam shaft sensor and setting off all the lights the reason it wandered is due to over tightning the tensioner pully i have the car back over 5 hours now and hasent done what it used as described in my first post but now will just die and the battery light will come im thinking its a bad earth maybe ill put the meter on it tomorrow

Well I suppose it's a process of elimination.
Simple one you could do yourself, you could reset the ECU adaption by disconnecting the battery, in case it learned something a bit funky when the cam sensor was off. You may lose fault codes but no biggie as going by the above if it's not fixed you will have no problem getting more codes.
There's a whole load of earth on the car and some go to more sensitive electronics, you would be dissing the battery anyway if you are checking / tightening / cleaning them
