Hi all, thinking of getting away to West Cork for a couple of nights next week. Where would you recommend staying/things to do for 3-4 days?

    Thanks!

Just a few off the top of my head :

Night time kayaking in Lough Hyne near Skibbereen
A trip out to Garnish Island

    If you're into history :
Bantry House & Gardens is supposed to be lovely
    Drombeg Stone Circle

    If you're into walking :
    Sheep's Head
There's supposed to be a lovely looped walk down around Alllihies

There isn't a full moon next week, so no night time kayaking on Lough Hyne!

If you go to Garnish (well worth a visit) , be sure to catch the ferry from the Blue Pool rather than the pier - it's €4 cheaper per person.

Stay in Schull and explore the Mizen. Eat in Crookhaven, swim at Barleycove and Drive/walk to Three Castles Head.

That's a pity about the night kayaking, it's a great way to spend a few hours.

If you have any interest in kayaking look into Atlantic Kayaking - they have a number of different day trips that can be done.

Re garnish, Pier two minutes drive out of town on castletownbere road is ten per adult kids free. Best I've found.
