Having issues with this port, located in the glove compartment. It was working fine .But now , when my iPod is connected up to it via the cable, the sound quality is weird.Almost as though it can’t play all frequencies.I can hear the music and the beats but the vocals are very low, almost like an echo. Its not the device as it works fine with earphones. Also tried another cable with no success.Anyone experience the same issue or have any ideas how to fix this.?? Thank you.

It’s hardly down to the volume setting on the device?

You're only getting half the stereo image. Must be an issue somewhere with the cable or head unit if the iPod plays back fine on headphones .
