If they're anything like me, they'd prefer to pick their own homewares, so maybe a voucher?
Or a bottle of champagne and voucher for local take away.

A voucher. You can’t buy them something practical because chances are they have bought that stuff already and unpractical stuff is very personal. What you buy might never be used.

Just give them the money and then they can choose whatever they want.

When my daughter moved in she got a present of a washing basket full of handy items . It was so welcome as it was their first home . It had all sorts in it
    Floor wipes
    Dish cloths
    Tea towels
    A soup ladle
    Washing up liquid
    J cloths
    Cif
    Brush and pan
    A measuring jug
A bottle of wine and two glasses
    Soap
And toilet paper and kitchen roll
    And much more

    They absolutely loved it !

Or a nice house plant! It can be quite expensive to build up your plant collection from scratch.
