Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Do the maths a typical battery commercially speaking costs €2k work out the pay back on it. I have a PV system, diverter and no battery. Im all for batteries and self sufficiency if possible and are viable and worth it id buy one but as I said salesmen say buy them, other people say don't.

    If you make your own of course payback is worth it, we are in a public forum not many will make their own.
