    Voluntarily leaving work would likely incure a 9 week disqualification from claiming benefits ,

    If you leave a job to go on JSB then you will be penalized 9 weeks from your JSB so in total you will get only a little more than 6 months JSB which is not enough to qualify for BTEA unless you qualify for JSA when the 6 months is up.
    JSA is means tested and then if you are referred to TN or Seetec at any stage you will not be allowed to do BTEA.
