Hap and council house waiting list

    Hi. I'm going to apply for Hap and was told by the council that i will definitely not be removed from the housing waiting list is that true? Online it clearly says that you will no longer be on the council waiting list. So confusing.

    You can request to stay on it when making the application so if they've told you you won't be removed, you won't.

    You have to write a short letter to them stating that you don’t want to be taken off the list.
