I am on disability allowance and my mother said that in her will she will give me land for a building site and some money. Other family members have offered to gift me money towards building a  house.

What do I do in this situation?

Inform the dept of your change of circumstances and go from there

Do nothing - by which I mean on no account should you notify the Department about any of this until your financial circumstances have actually changed.

Wills can take a long time to be probated, they can also be contested, or your mother may change her mind and draw up a new will. So don't jump the gun!
