Hi. Just wondering can i remove my partner from my application even though we are still together. After 9 years on the list the council now claiming that im not entitled because my partner owns a property with hes x wife. They finally have sale agreed on the house but it will take a while to sort everything out. The problem is that we are about to become homeless and the council refuse to listen.
    Thanks

I think the answer is quite clear; legally of course you can't.

You can of course remove him, but if the CoCo actually brought this to your attention, and then he suddenly disappears, they will cop on to it. They've been around the block a few times.
