Canon Telephoto lens price

I’m planning on purchasing a Canon-EF-S-55-250mm-f-4-5.6-IS-STM lens and have been checking prices online and in store. There seems to be a huge variation ranging from €159.98 from Curry’s PC World and €190 from Photospecialist.ie right up to €359 and €389 from Argos and some specialist camera shops.

Maybe I’m being overly suspicious and should snap one up at the cheaper price but I can’t gelp wondering why such a huge variation in price. As the Curry’s PC World site is ‘currently unavailable’, Photospecialist.ie looks like the next best option. Have any of you purchased from them in the past and we’re you happy with them?

Any advice or feedback would be welcome.

Cheers for that. Very mixed reviews online about eGlobal Central’s customer service so I probably wouldn’t go with them. Any experience of Photospecialist.ie?

I bought lens and camera recently from photospecialist and no problems at all.

Ships from Holland via Ups tracked delivery. Takes about 3 working days, but add few euros for shipping etc.
If it is cheaper in Curry's I would give them a shout, though.

Bought one lens from Curry's and they were a bit slow with shipping.

Amazon or eInfinity would be the 2 I'd go for.

I can stand by Eglobal after making several purchases from them, never a problem.
