04 VW Passat indicator clicking for a few seconds after turning it off?

    Hi all
    Indicator both L and R in pwo the clicking goes on for a few seconds after turning off indicator, light goes off perfect just clicking for a few seconds then stops automatically, passed NCT- thanks for looking:)

    Ok, so when you stop indication while driving the clicking sound continues a few more clicks.

    Try this, it's for another car but might work similar for you

    I blasted mine with WD40 when it started clckign when driving long. No dissasembly, nothing.
    Worked for me

    It is the indicator stalk brushes.


    Spray electrical contact cleaner in at the root of the stalk while cycling it a few times, should clean out any debris.
