Romantic Accommodation in Donegal?!

Looking to book three romantic nights away in Donegal. Plan is to visit Slieve League cliffs, Glenveagh. Have looked at Harveys point and Solis Eske Castle but we have stayed in upper end hotels recently and I feel like booking somewhere in smaller accommodation in a romantic setting. Maybe even a cottage/self catering on grounds of a hotel. If there is a particular hotel in the north of the county, I'd happily check out those suggestions too! We are basically looking to stay a few nights somewhere nice, but getting out to relax the landscape, rather than the hotel is the priority..

Cannot recommend Lough Eske Castle highly enough and there are lots of walks around the Lough to take in.
Slieve League is less than an hours drive away and is spectacular.
There are some lovely cottages in around Glencar too but wouldn't have a specific recommendation and there is a lovely beach Fintra in close proximity. AirBnB would be a good start

How about Rathmullan house https://www.rathmullanhouse.com/ or Fanad Lighthouse https://fanadlighthouse.com/about-us/

Rathmullan House or Castlegrove House (just outside Letterkenny).
