    Hi All,

I've managed to get a nice big stone chip on the bonnet, down to the metal. Any recommendations on where to get it fixed? 2017 Audi A1 if it makes a difference.

I got a stone chip on my Audi, I took it to dealer, they said the whole bonnet would need to be resprayed.
I got a kit in Halfords and repaired it myself.
At the end of the day you could get it done professionally and then drive on roads and get another chip.

    Hi,

What kit is that? Was it down to the metal and how did it look?

    Thanks

Yes it was right down to the metal.

It’s not perfect but it’s barely noticeable after polishing with black car polish.
If you’re handy with cars do it, if not maybe a friend is good at this kinda thing?

This person was recommended to me when I was looking for some paint repairs. Mine where too big in the end, I needed the whole bonnet done so didn't use him.
